1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbs olive oil
1 can Italian tomatoes
1 tbs oregano
1 tbs basil
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil until soft
in Dutch oven. Stir in tomatoes with liquid, 1/3 cups water, and seasonings. Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer
20 minutes. Stir occasionally to keep from sticking. Serve over pasta.
